Fifth generation jeweller announces major rebrand of hand-crafted jewellery line
Simon Barber, of JJ Barber Jewellers in Fermoy, Cork, has launched a major rebrand of his hand crafted jewellery line. Simon comes from five generations of jewellers, with his family business operating out of Fermoy since 1869.
Simon has been running the family business since 2005 while also producing his own range of jewellery under the brand Findings. Following interest nationally and internationally in the story and heritage behind his jewellery, Simon has taken the significant step to rebrand his jewellery under his own name. The newly launched Simon Barber brand uses visuals, graphics and images to tell the story of Simon Barber and the pieces he crafts in a workshop above the family shop in Fermoy.
Speaking about the launch of the new brand Barber says:
The interest in the jewellery I create has been growing, and more and more people ask me about the story, heritage and inspiration behind the pieces. Now that I've built up multiple ranges and pieces I feel confident and ready to step out from behind the name Findings and into my own name: Simon Barber
Simon Barber creates handmade jewellery inspired by a love of the natural world, with its wealth of textures and organic shapes. Every pendant, bracelet and earring contains five generations of family history, skill and experience.
Simon Barber jewellery is available at JJ Barber's Jewellers in Fermoy, The Kilkenny Shop, Dublin and from other stockists nationwide.
